Pointillism - Georges Seurat

This week in art class we learned about Georges Seurat and his method called "pointillism". We used Q-tips with acrylic paints on a canvas. I think it I did this project again I would use oil pastels or some other medium. It was pretty tricky for the kids to express themselves with paints in this style in under an hour! The requirement was to paint something from nature. We did sketches before beginning our paintings. I am always amazed by the variety of ideas that come from each student.
